As you know, South
Leicestershire has some of the prettiest landscapes in
England, which is one of the main reasons we choose to live
here. The proposed Swinford Wind Farm would be the
first, with more also in the planning stages for this
area (click here
to see where). If the Swinford Wind Farm gets passed the others stand a good chance too! Don't let Leicestershire
become 'Wind Farm County'.
Visual Oppression
Turbines
will dominate the skyline.

In the

and rotors are smaller than those proposed for Swinford.
For those
of you who are Newcastle United supporters, imagine this. If
you were to take one of the turbines and lay it flat, it would
not fit into St James’s Park
